Lisa McKay

Lisa joined Authors Legal in November 2025. She holds Bachelors degrees in Arts (English) and Law, along with a Master of Teaching and Graduate Certificate in Editing and Publishing. Lisa is experienced in both the legal and publishing industries. 

She began her legal career as a paralegal in the commercial litigation department of a large firm. After qualifying, Lisa practised in the Crown Solicitor’s Office conducting litigation for the NSW government. She later worked with an anti-corruption body as an Investigative Lawyer. 

During a career break from practising law, Lisa began working as an Editor in the publishing industry. She edited books for over 10 years with an Australian-based global education publisher.
